About Me
Hello, I'm Mia Manalili
Welcome to my portfolio! I am currently a third-year design student at the University of San Francisco. With a strong interest in both digital and analog media, I aim to create work that bridges these approaches and explores new artistic spaces where traditional and contemporary methods meet.

I was born and raised in Southern California and remain a devoted Californian, now having experienced life in both regions of the state. Growing up, I always had a passion for art and design and eagerly pursued any creative outlet I could find—from painting and drawing to building with Legos. Eventually, I learned how to sew, which quickly became one of my greatest passions. I loved the ability to create something tangible that I could both showcase and wear.

My passion for sewing eventually led me to become a sewing instructor, an experience that further developed my skills in both fashion and teaching. Throughout my life, I have always felt drawn to the creative world. When I began studying graphic design, I realized it offered a way to bring together many of the creative practices I had explored throughout my life.

Today, I am deeply passionate about continuing to develop my skills in graphic design while also supporting others as an educator across the many facets of art and creative practice.
